"The improvement in Spaniards’ lives is instantly visible. Many elderly people are short, stunted by the hunger they suffered as children in the hard years of fascist autarky after Franco won the civil war of 1936-39. Young Spaniards are strikingly taller than their grandparents, exemplified by Pau Gasol, who measures seven feet (2.13 metres) and was voted the most valuable player when Spain won the latest world basketball championship."
"Finally Spain goes back to where it belongs. Spain only grew at that amazing pace, because of the money that the EU gave them. It´s a very beautiful country but without Spaniards. Let´s hope Spain forgets it´s aspirations to become a powerful country, the have to leave that to other greater cultures. And most important of all, they have to invest in education, Spaniards lack of education and culture and that reflects on their behavior."
"This leads to people like the president of the community of Madrid and an ex-president of the country to deny climate change when even people like McCain realize that it is happening."
Un saludo
