"The company said it expects to file no later than the end of January its most recent quarterly performance report, which has been delayed due to the investigation. Alexion said it also expects to report fourth-quarter results and give 2017 guidance in February. The investigation was triggered, the company has said, by allegations a former employee made about the selling of Alexion’s flagship product, the Soliris treatment for a rare blood disorder known as paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria. As part of the investigation, the company is also examining its accounting practices, internal controls and disclosure practices."
