I know a lot of you are worried about the OMPI price action the last 2 trading sessions. Knowledge is confidence and mind easing in the market = making money. Let’s read below from an excerpt at http://www.sec.gov/rules/concept/34-42037.htm Refer to what is above question 12 from this link.
“Focusing Short Sale Restrictions on Certain Market Events and Trading StrategiesCertain market events and trading strategies may make a security more vulnerable to abusive short sale activity. The Commission previously has recognized that certain events increase the potential for short selling abuse.50 Specific market events related to an issuer or a security (such as a pending merger or acquisition) may cause this increased vulnerability. Also, there may be certain times in a trading day when there is a heightened concern about manipulation.51 We, therefore, request comment on whether short selling should continue to be regulated or even prohibited during specific market conditions.”
In parenthesis, I DID NOT add that, the above is a copy and paste from prior SEC discussions. Abusive short selling is done frequently to accumulate shares at a much lower price than the buyout premium, make the buyout premium look much higher, and by greedy pig pro traders “in the know” working as teams, churning shares, and using married puts to manipulate the price.
OMPI has a low float, so of these guy played it honestly, they would have to accumulate shares at or ABOVE the buyout price. Guys and Gals. THESE ARE THE PEOPLE who manipulate you to make their money. I am the guy informing you and providing links as the one here for you to EDUCATE yourselves on how this most manipulative big money game works.
I was fine with my 13,000 shares before, but since these guys want to manipulate the price lower, I was happy to ,pick up 5000 more shares, so I now have 18,000 shares.
Remember though, NOTHING IS EVER GUARANTEED in the market. As a person who believes in the rules of capitalism as they should be, I am taking a big risk here, and I fully know and accept these risks and a negative result if my DD is wrong in this case. If I lose, I will move on and get it back and more so. For me, of wrong, it only means it cost me time and some money; acceptable risk as I know again, I will make it back.
Having said this, everyone must decide what risk tolerance is acceptable for THEMSELVES, understand the risks and rewards, and trade accordingly!!
It is my strongest opinion that either tomorrow or Monday morning, we get the news all of us have been waiting for on OMPI
Have a good one!
Scott
