 Redeye has interviewed patent expert, Andreas Iwerbäck, about the lawsuit against Samsung. Iwerbäck stated that there are settlement talks likely ongoing, and that an eventual settlement could come within days or at least the next couple of weeks. Iwerbäck added that he is “100% sure” that Samsung will settle before trial. Regarding at what sum a settlement would be at, Iwerbäck stated that one or a few billion USD. Lastly, if Samsung would bring it all the way to court, Iwerbäck assessed Samsung’s chances to be “slim or zero”
