Respuesta de un forero en seeking alfa a una pregunta de otro forero de por qué las acciones de TGP no ha pegado un tirón más fuerte después de la presentación de resultados de la semana pasada, me parece interesante
The market doesn't look like you.
- A large part of the market are indexers and closet indexers. TGP's position in the indexes hasn't changed.
- Another large part of the market are computer driven, either screen based or pure algorithmic. TGP's existing debt / TTM EBITDA level won't make it past these computer sifters, yet.
- Another large part of the market only buys mega-caps they are familiar and comfortable with or basically buys yield. TGP's doesn't qualify in the comfortable mega-cap front and their dividend still shows up as 19¢ / quarter.
So basically you are relegated to the rare individual investor or small fund that doesn't closet index, and actually does individual company research including making up their own mind about future potential. Many of those were already overweight TGP.
