STOCKHOLM—Norwegian oil and gas giant Statoil STL.OS -1.04% ASA said Thursday it is preparing to shut down production on the Norwegian continental shelf following a notice of lockout from the oil companies' association, a move aimed at forcing government intervention in an already 12-day strike.

The lockout warning follows strike action taken by offshore unions Industri Energi, SAFE and Lederne on June 24 over demands for better pension terms for workers.

The move, which shuts-in 1.2 million barrels of oil equivalent a day, sent crude-oil prices higher amid wider supply fears stemming from the European Union's imposition of an embargo on Iranian crude imports.

Statoil is planning to shut production and return all personnel to land from Monday at 6 p.m. ET. It will take one to four days to shut down all production on the shelf, depending on the characteristics and complexity of each field.

Statoil's lost revenue resulting from the production stoppage will amount to around 520 million kroner ($86.8 million) a day. Last year, Statoil's total production was just under two million barrels of oil equivalent a day.

"This will have major consequences for Statoil and for the Norwegian society as a whole," said Bard Glad Pedersen, spokesman at Statoil. The OIA estimates the strike has resulted in a loss of revenue of about 2 billion kroner so far.

Crude-oil futures jumped after Statoil's announcement. The front-month August Brent contract on London's ICE futures exchange was up $1.85, or 1.8%, in recent trade, at $101.62 a barrel.

The striking unions have been pushing for an early pensions agreement to be included in collective bargaining, but the OIA, which represents oil companies in centralized wage negotiations, has said that discussion doesn't belong in those talks.

Negotiations between the parties broke down late Wednesday, setting the stage for continued production slowdowns in Western Europe's largest oil producer and exporter.

"The situation is completely locked and we stand as far from each other as we did at the very beginning," said Bengt Eidem, spokesperson at OIA. "Lockout is the only measure we as employers can use to try and end this conflict and hopefully it will make the unions reconsider."

Leif Sande, leader of the Industri Energi union, said the decision was "terrible and irresponsible," and "clearly an attempt by the employer side to pressure politicians to get involved an end the conflict." The government has the ability to impose compulsory arbitration, a move that would in effect push striking employees back to work.

Statoil is the company most affected by the strike. It is operator of the Heidrun and Oseberg fields, as well as the Brage, Veslefrikk and Huldra fields, all of which have been shut. It is also the biggest owner of the BP BP.LN +0.85% PLC-operated Skarv field, which may face delays to its planned fourth-quarter start of production.

Tengo dos camaras empotradas que no se decirte las dimensiones ahora y un congelador de paneles grande...muy grande,jeje.
Pero cuidado con ese tema,es uno de los mas problematicos y por el que mas matraca te dan...aunque ahora con 17 legislaciones distintas...miralo bien de todas formas.
Las nuevas son de paneles isotermicos...se dice asi??jeje y no necesitan obra (ahorro de costes) pero mas caras y mas eficaces.
Seguro que encuentras la solucion,jeje.
