K's are not subject to to the 4.xx% acquisition limit, and they are much more liquid in the market because (a) there are 20 million of them (vs. only 500,000 P's) and (b) pyschologically they "look" cheap to retail buyers compared to P's and (c) most of the P's are locked up by savvy institutional investors and us board members. Remember, as Venable told the court on behalf of the EC, Joyce's data shows we boards members alone (at least those of us who gave her our data) own at least 10% of the P's, none of us are selling, and many of us have already picked up more P's since Joyce accumulated the data last summer. (I've maybe tripled my P's since then, with the help of f.ckthewhat's K>P and H>P arbitrage suggestion last spring, and I know many have done the same thing.)

Today, the K>P arbitage looked tempting, and I considered it, but there's no real volume in the P's and a lot of small lot back and forth between the mm's to hold the price around $82. I don't want to sell my K's at $2.80 and get stuck holding the bag because my order for P's doesn't fill, and then the K's go to $4 later. If I had some cash I'd grab the P's first, then sell the K's to cover it, but I don't.
