Novavax (NVAX): Un Nuevo Comienzo

No veas como está todo. Entran ganas de apagar el ordenador y no mirar más gráficos hasta el mes que viene mínimo ... y esta en caída libre.

del mensual la MM10 que hasta ahora es la que ha servido de ultimo soporte en todo este rally ...  por los 140 y algo tambien

No se si se ira tan abajo,  no conozco el futuro ... lo que si que se es que no puede, no debe, bajar de ese nivel. La verdad es que con todo lo que ha corregido ya me extrañaria que no rebotara en los 172 del gap pero tambien la forma en la que se ha pulido la MM50 ... como si fuera mantequilla, el mercado no esta de humor y ya sabemos como las puede gastar cuando se pone peleón,  de momento el sector lleva una correccion del -20% desde maximos. 

Hasta que no de una señal medio decente de posible suelo no voy andar adivinando con mi dinero.

Esperaba una corrección importante, como comenté cuando dije cuál era mi plan y por qué quería vender casi todo antes de verano, pero se ha adelantado un par de meses. No creí que fuera posible antes de EAU de UK y acuerdo con EU, pero aquí estamos.

Me ha pillado con demasiados cromos, comprando en la bajada porque esperaba en cualquier momento rebote con las noticias que se supone que estaban cerca. Error. El problema es que no es seguro ni siquiera que esos eventos vayan a mover el precio en exceso ahora y el sector está horrible.

Ayer me fui a correr para pensar porque necesitaba cierta claridad. Al volver vendí 1/5 de posición en premarket a $203.23. Porque pìntaba feo y porque así bajaba peso y me daba más liquidez en caso de irse a niveles donde el riesgo es menor. Cuando cae de esta manera es mejor no precipitarse y ver cuándo para. Pero creo que haré una entrada por debajo de $180 no muy grande y otra por $160 si llega. Porque ese es el que creo el mínimo de valoración que puede tener.

Ha habido muchas cosas en contra que todos conocemos, no se ha comportado igual que empresas similares y encima está corrigiendo más que ninguna. Pero los fracasos del pasado y ser una pequeña frente a gigantes es lo que tiene. Mantengo la posición porque veo poco probable que este año no venda mínimo 5B y haga >3B los años siguientes. Es un escenario ultraconsevador pero hay opciones de que no suceda también. Además, no puedo arriesgar lo mismo con muchísima carga como tengo aquí como con otras.

Pueden pasar muchas cosas, pero que se adelantara la caída y no llegasen las noticias me ha hecho un hijo de madera. Afortunadamente sigo este año bastante en verde al realizar ganancias, pero ahora para el even toca remar de nuevo mucho. Y arriesgar bastante, que es lo que no quería.

En fin, así son las bios. Además, si la cosa sale medio normal con un poco de suerte volveremos a ver los máximos de hace nada. Suerte a todos y meditad vuestro plan.

No había leído esto de muddy pero coincido mucho en lo que dice. También en las cuentas que hace (similares a las mías en plan muy conservador), que son por las que comenté en el pasado ese precio justo de $240, a él le sale $233.

SII stuff  500mx$1 = 0.5bn

That is 900m doses = 5.5bn

 

Entirely consistent with a 2bn doses/yr rate seeing they aren't going to get that rolling until mid-year.  

 

Did I miss something? 

 

This whole not do rolling submitions of a rolling review or whatever it is they are doing (type of thing that is crystal clear for a short bit after a CC ... or not) or not release results that they have, or don't have, well ... hungry people eat the food in front of them after which they are no longer hungry.  If they are not making stufff till June (depending on how you read this stuff they call communication) well, a lot of folks will be satiated by then.  

 

But no worries, they will seel everything they can make .... or about 900m doses at around $6.11/dose average.   

 

5.5bn = 3(ps) = 17.5bn mcap, 75m shares = SP $233. 

 

So yea, they just need a faster boat, but they don't think they need a faster boat, they are too busy marveling in how fast their current boat is.  We will be reading about MRNA variant vax in a few weeks, the spin will be that NVAX is outdated and irrelevant, NVAX will talk about marathons and RSV combos, some will muse about tortises.  All these details about dose loads, puulllease, people just are not keeping score. MRNA will just switch to the variant as a boost and call it a day, a new vax for the current challenge will sell just fine, and that displaces NVAX.

Buenos días, así es, estuvo mucho tiempo en 120, de ahí a 220 y de ahí a 330, ahora retrocede a 180, esperemos que no mucho más....yo vendi algo en 270, y compre en 226 y 216, me da que tiene que anunciar ya en nada el acuerdo con U.E....días durillos, de los que curten, y se que venimos de donde venimos pero las perspectivas esta vez parecen ciertas y al alcance en el corto plazo...aguantar o resistiré, así pienso, en cualquier momento gira y te pilla fuera y eso si que me seria imperdonable 

Quizás la única ventaja que veo del retraso en la publicación de los  resultados sea que estén recopilando datos sobre el grado de transmisión del virus que tienen las personas una vez vacunadas. Creo que en alguno de los ensayos iniciales con monos salía transmisión muy baja y esto es una ventaja competitiva importantísima. 

Han hecho algún cambio y no va en Chrome (al menos a mí). Yo lo abro con el navegador Opera y ahí me va bien.

Podría ser pero no creo que sea el problema del retraso. Más bien la validación de la fabricación. 1 mes largo para saberlo 😓.

Ya lo descubrí....No me abre la pagina en chrome cuando estoy conectado con wiffi, y si me la abre cuando estoy conectado con la tarjeta de datos, me pasa tanto en el iphone como en el ipad, no se el motivo, pero al menos encontré una solución.

New Covid vaccines to fight variants like the one from Brazil can be fast-tracked through the approval system, says the UK's regulator the MHRA.

"Current vaccines may not work as well against some variants and scientists are working on updating them now.

But manufacturers will not need to seek brand new approval or do lengthy clinical studies.

However they will need proof that the shots trigger protective antibodies in the blood.

The aim is to shorten the process, where possible, so that vaccine approval could happen in weeks and months, not years.

A similar fast-track method is already used for annual flu vaccines which regularly need updating to keep up with a virus that is constantly changing by mutating"

Otro asunto interesante respecto al "upfront payment" o cobro por adelantado de los acuerdos firmados. Me cuesta creer que en Abril no tengamos noticias positivas, mucho ánimo a todos!!

NVX-CoV2373 Supply Agreements

We have entered into advance purchase agreements (referred to as "APAs" or "supply agreements" throughout this Annual Report on Form 10-K) with various countries globally that, if our product candidate is approved, are expected to result in the delivery of approximately 200 million doses of NVX-CoV2373 throughout 2021 and into the first half of 2022. The APAs typically contain terms that include upfront payments intended to assist us in funding investments related to building out and operating our manufacturing and distribution network, among other expenses, in support of our global supply commitment. Such upfront payments generally become non-refundable upon our achievement of certain development milestones. We expect to sign additional APAs that are currently in active discussions and negotiations.

A summary and status of these supply agreements follows:

In October 2020, we entered into a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine supply agreement with The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, acting on behalf of the government of the UK (the “Authority”), for the purchase of 60 million doses of NVX-CoV2373, plus such additional orders as the Authority may make from time to time. We agreed to continue to conduct a UK-based Phase 3 clinical trial of NVX-CoV2373 to assess the efficacy of NVX-CoV2373 in the UK population, establish a dedicated supply chain for NVX-CoV2373 in the UK and seek regulatory approval for the NVX‑CoV2373 in the UK. FDB’s UK site is expected to produce up to 180 million doses annually. Excess supply of antigen manufactured at the FDB’s site in Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees may be available for us to sell to additional markets outside the UK.

In January 2021, we finalized an APA with the Government of Canada to supply up to 76 million doses of NVX-CoV2373. Canada has committed to purchase 52 million doses of NVX-CoV2373 with the option for up to an additional 24

million doses. Under the agreement, we expect to supply doses of NVX-CoV2373 to Canada following authorization by Canada’s regulatory agency.

In December 2020, we finalized an APA with the Australian Federal Government to supply up to 61 million doses. Australia is committed to purchase 51 million doses of NVX-CoV2373 with the option for up to an additional 10 million doses. We will work with Australia’s regulatory agency, the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA), to seek product approvals upon demonstrating efficacy in clinical studies.

In December 2020, we finalized an APA with the government of New Zealand for the purchase of 10.72 million doses of NVX-CoV2373. Under the terms of the agreement, we will manufacture all doses of NVX-CoV2373 delivered to New Zealand under the agreement.

In February 2021, we executed a binding Heads of Terms with the government of Switzerland to supply six million doses of NVX-CoV2373. Following this Heads of Terms, we intend to negotiate a final agreement with Switzerland, with initial delivery of vaccine doses slated to ship following successful clinical development and regulatory review.

Yo no es que no confíe en NVAX, pero esto desespera al más pintado. 
Me imagino que una parte de la bajada tenga que ver con los tiempos que manejamos.

Están barajando que van a hacer falta repetición de vacunas cada año como la gripe, y que 1 mes más le es indiferente a la compañía si obtienen mejor producto, y les da igual que el valor baje de 330 a 140, el único inconveniente es que cuando para junio esté ya vacunado más del 60% y sea muy baja ya la expansión del virus, que cuota de mercado les quedará por muy buen producto que saque??el mercado penaliza sin duda....a ver si se dan algo de prisa...no solo hay que ser eficientes, sino eficaces

Janssen la inicia el 16/02/2021.
La EMA se reúne el 11/03/2021 para revisar la solicitud de Janssen y estudiar su aprobación extraordinaria.
