Everyone is concerned about the EC SJ being postponed a few weeks but look at the items moving forward:
Application for Employment and Retention of Peter J Solomon Company as Financial Advisor - OBJECTIONS RECEIVED: NONE
Application for Retention and Employment of Ashby and Geddes as Delaware Councel to the EC - OBJECTIONS RECEIVED: NONE
Debtor' 20th Omnibus Objection to Claims (WMB Bondholders included) - Moving Forward
All Good News.
Now, regarding the EC SJ motion's 2 week hearing delay, there has to be more to this then we are aware of and (being the optimist that I am) it may not be a bad thing. So far we have not seen any objections even we know they are coming. No Joinder Motion filed even though we know it will be. All parties have been relatively quiet which hopefully means they are communicating. If WMI does not want this SJ as much as JPM does not want to give up the 4 Billion, the EC may have pushed the right buttons with this motion. Remember that Greg Cross is no slouch and has been named the Top Bankruptcy Deal Maker and this delay was agreed to for a reason, unknown to us. Now is the time for faith and not fear.
