vaya día amigos.
No me gusta lo que he podido leer, pero es lo que hay.
Antes de salir del trabajo deje una orden de compra en 5.75 con stop 5.64 que por supuesto salto.
Luego en una conexión vi el desastre y puse orden de recomprar esas mismas en 5.15 y entro.Así que el lunes estaré con 2000 cfd mas de Amrn.

A mi lo que me ronda la cabeza y no consigo quitarmelo de encima es :

ANCHOR esta conducido por la FDA con el protocolo SPA, lo que significa que ellos asignan los objetivos a superar, las condiones y todo. Y entre esas condiciones se pide que el estudio REDUCE-IT este "avanzado".
Los resultados de ANCHOR son buenos, exceden los objetivos primarios y secundarios y los efectos toxicos son practicamente nulos.
Pasa 1 año. La FDA aprueba Vascepa que tambien fue conducida por SPA para indicacion Marine.
Pasan 6 meses mas, la empresa solicita NDA y la FDA devuelve la carta de los 72 dias completamente limpia.
ya llevamos año y medio con los resultados del Anchor liberados y a diapisicion publica,
Pasan otros 6 meses, y ahora sale un documento de la FDA para el adcom que no solo se pasa por el arco del triunfo el valor de los objetivos fijados para el trial sino que hace hincapie en el tema no del peligro o riesgo cardiovascular sino en el beneficio que aun no ha sido probado? aspecto que se trata como ya se sabe, en el trial REDUCE-IT.

y que va hacer AMRN? se la tiene que envainar agachar la cabeza y confiar que cuando termine el trial REDUCE-IT de 6 años de duracion tambien guiado por SPA ... creer que la FDA no lea va a dar la puñalada tambien?

me tiene muy desconcertado todo esto. Lo de cambiar los criterios y las reglas del juego a estas a estas alturas de partido con el argumento de "es que la ciencia ha cambiado" ....

y por cierto, el doc est redactado con mala leche, eh? hay frases positivas en el fondo hablando que puede ser interpretables como algo negativo en la forma.

Estoy leyendl todo lo que pasa por la pantalla y si no hago caso a los post y mensajes en plan "lo sabia este valor esta maldito", "nos vamos a la bancarrota" y similares , y atiendo a quien parece que sabe lo que dice NO veo a la gente negativa ni mucho menos.

Por ejemplo:

The only negative us they ask committee members to estimate likelihood of Vascepa helping cardiac events which is impossible for members to do as EPA works differently than all other fish oils, niacin etc tested as it is an anti inflammatory mainly. She wants them to decide if a better lipid profile leads to less heart issues which most on the panel still push that as being a good thing so hard of them to judge differently based on studies reported.

I see how asking that question drove it down to 5.75 and then bloomberg article with misleading headline saying FDA requires outcome trial drove it to 5. Reading the details it seems ad comm members will vote overwhelmingly in favor but the details on what they feel about reducing cardiac events mat still give FDA pause in December.
So Sell off overdone IMO and we will not get resolution from ADCOM As FDA in December will still be debatable on direction regardless of Adcom."

tambien los hay que piensan como nosotros. que la FDA parece querer cambiar su parte del trato.

"Isn't asking for an Outcomes Study completion against the SPA contract? It seems like the FDA is changing their tune in mid flight here. Very unfair to AMRN. The agreement was to have Reduce-It well underway. No where does it say that the Reduce-It needs to be completed. It said substantially underway in which it is. For the FDA to breach the contract and suddenly change the parameters on AMRN deserves a closer look at by AMRN's legal team. The FDA has basically screwed AMRN. The FDA could have just said from the beginning that they wont consider Anchor until Reduce-It trial complete. But they didn't do that. They made an agreement with AMRN saying that Reduce-It be underway NOT complete. Now all the sudden they want Reduce-It data? AMRN could have just said forget it and concentrated on Marine or they could have been running the Reduce-It study along with the Anchor since 2011 and could have been almost done with it by now."

Es todo muy raro,si la cosa fuese tan jodida,a estas alturas y con semejante volumen,la empresa no estaba a 5 dolares yo creo,se iria mucho mas abajo.
Lo curioso es que todo el mundo esta buscando razones para justificar un posible No,cuando lo facil es encontrar argumentos para el Si.
Desde luego,el panico en el retail ya lo metieron,pero esta pelicula aun tiene duracion para vuelcos argumentales gordos.

Me lo parece a mi o el articulo de Boomberg ha cambiado su titulo y ha sustituido ya al cierre su mortal cabecera
