Thank you for contacting IBKR Client Services.
Please note that you currently hold an account with Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited.
Due to a Law in Ireland, the 20% taxation will be applied on earned interest on positive (unused) cash balance maintained in offered currencies (e.g. on USD, GBP, EUR, etc...). Dividends, bond payments, lending shares and any proceeds from trading activities are exempt from this taxation.
However, for clients in the EU (excluding Ireland) or if you are a non-resident of Ireland but tax resident in a country with a Double Tax Agreement (DTA) with Ireland, you may complete Form 8-3-6, that will reduce or eliminate your withholding tax. In addition to providing your information, you will need to have the form completed by the tax authority in the country where you are a tax resident.

Gracias.
