Red en IV, ante la pregunta:
how much of an impediment is Pfizer's 90% efficacy rate to NVAX (or is it an impediment at all?) As a layperson, I would think that Pfizer has set the bar pretty high. Thoughts?

Hard to answer since the 90% has very little detail to it, most importantly how long it lasts. I am impressed with the number but unimpressed with the PR that leaves out any/all details. So what does it to do or for NVAX. It raises the public’s acceptance of CoViD vaccines. If it was 50-60% it would be bad in general for vaccines. Second it is clear that PFE cannot supply the larger market, both due to limited capacity and due to logistics of distribution. Overall I think it’s good for NVAX. I said this months ago, every dose NVAX makes will be sold. 2 billion doses? Sold. It is going to take a bit of time but the cream will rise to the top here and in the end for seniors (Me next me I want one) this will be the vaccine of choice. Every dose will be sold.
I see no negatives in good vaccine news. Cream will rise up
